Oh my gawd, we were doing wraps a lot, too, for a while.  Only we called them toobs.  Usually, our leftovers become toobs.  I need more variety, too.  I've tested a few new ideas lately, so we are getting better.  But we definitely don't have a 28 day rotation!

Side note: It's "funny" ( :-X ) how my husband starts to get bored with the repetition, but then looks all kinds of skeptical when I try something new, and I have to sell him on it when I'm not even sure of the recipe myself yet.  I don't know when he thinks I'm supposed to be running my test kitchen.

what exactly is a toob?

That's how my husband writes "tube" because he mocks Americans (or just me) who don't pronounce /oo/ and /u_e/ differently.  There's apparently a subtle difference in the sounds.

Even with a 28 day menu, it feels like we are always eating the same things!   ::)  4 weeks definitely goes by fast.  Our menus is 50/50 American and British though.  Hee hee  I feel like it needs some revamping.

My kid is learning how to spell.  She does NOT believe me that three is spelled with a TH and not an F.   :\\\'(

My husband (and sadly, my child) pronounce "tu" as choo.  So they eat choona (tuna) or go somewhere on chooseday (tuesday).   ::)

Ahh!  When my husband is being lazy or silly, I've heard him do the f/th thing!  I don't know which regional accent he's mimicking, but I've heard him do it.  He usually ends -ing words with a soft k sound as well when he does the th/f thing.  And all of his words that end with -uh or -ah sound have a hint of r in them (like "Americahr").

"Americahr"

I think that's grounds for divorce.

I remember people in the US pronouncing bra like brawl.  UGH!  MY EARS!

Funny, I qualify for a Costco membership fine with my profession, but Costco is a long way from here.   I can't really think of much I would buy from them, but then again, I'm sure if I was in one, I would want to buy everything.

My husband says things that are supposedly pronounced with subtle differences...So subtle that they legit sound like the same word. And when he says the word "pawn" I think he's getting mega rude with me. LOL

So you call wraps tubes then? haha

I think that's grounds for divorce.

The fact that people pronounce bra that was upsets me greatly...WHY?!

I've heard the heighth thing just in the past week.  Like, really recently!  I was surprised, as it was a grown person, and not a child.

Someone who I used to work with used to say both. I loved her personally and admired her professionally but it was really hard to overlook!

Thankfully, I've never heard such ridiculousness! Is it a regional thing? This is literally the first I've heard those pronunciations!
