i just recently got a new passport from the US Embassy as I changed my name. My appointment was 26 March and my passport arrived on Friday April 6. DX sent a text the day before to alert me it was being delivered. It's highly probable that they don't have the passport from the Embassy yet, as when I tried to track the package before they had it I got an error message.

My passport renewal last year said 'need more information'  until the embassy released it to dx.
