Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!!!
« on: April 09, 2018, 03:57:40 PM »
Yesterday I had CHEESE!  Just a small wrap from a catering tray.

It was like the clouds parted, angels floated down, and placed the most delicious tasting food onto my tongue EVER.  WAY better than I remembered!

For those of you who are confused, I've been dairy free for nearly a year while nursing my son.  Well, we are done nursing so Mama gets cheese again.   ;D

I think it's safe to say I'll never be vegan!

Maybe you could come all the way here and personally deliver my Costco cheesecake.... we'll have pizza and then cheesecake.  Because I'm pretty sure that's a classic main and dessert pairing.  :)

Woo hoo! I've had pretty good luck with Prezzo for their GF crust so far, but I still am not 100% confident about cross contamination cuz of a slightly bad reaction last time. But I love pizza with goat cheese. :)

We always make our own.  Definitely not JF level but it’s yummy.

Your daughter will be super happy! And I don't think any of us can match JF level ;)

I just realised as soon as we do the initial burn off (that I need to be out of the house for) I can actually make my own again! It was installed today! My recipe is from Karina's Kitchen (gluten free goddess) and I always used a mix of buckwheat, sorghum, and whichever starch she calls for and it was so good. Just curious.. Do you have a favourite GF yeast? I didn't have any luck with the doves farm quick yeast in the orange bag at our old flat but it could've just been an old batch.

I’m afraid I am not a gluten free baker!  Now if you want to know which ready made pizza bases are any good - I’m your girl!   ;)

Cheeeeese!

Try getting some mature cheddar, and cooking it in a frying pan with some black pepper, and then scooping it all up onto toast for a sandwich with soup. Cheese gets a whole 'nuther level of yummy when cooked!
