I know the site states 12 weeks, anyone have an idea what a realistic timescale is...8 weeks...10?

It depends if you purchase Settlement Priority Processing ($848) or not... which gets the application put to the front of the queue when it arrives in Sheffield.
Current processing times are approx:
- with priority: 18-30 business days (but some have taken longer
- without priority: 12 weeks
