Oh, I see what you mean now! Sorry, I was misunderstanding what you meant by e-ticket. I’ve got them all ready to go.  ;D

Thanks, I’ll make sure those points are covered in his sponsor letter.

So, to update - he’s spoken to the bank and is able to get the remaining statements mailed to him, no need for him to go in to the branch after all. So now it’s just a few days wait for all 12 months to come through. And he switched to paper statements now so we can avoid this headache in the future.

We did catch an error in his employer letter yesterday (wrong hire date), so he called his contact in the office about that. He mentioned to her to hold off for now while he makes sure bank statements come in without issues, and he’s explained what’s gone on thus far. Come to find out, her husband is the MP for the area my husband lives in, so we can contact him if we have any problems at all. He’ll help us out if we need it.  :D

Fantastic!  Sounds like a much more positive day than yesterday.  :)

Yes, much better day! We’re still waiting on his bank statements now, so I took a couple days off preparing stuff because I was getting stressed out.
Now it seems pulling together proof of our communication while apart might be a struggle. We use FaceTime more than anything else, which is a pain to get calls so far back. We’ve also used email, Facebook messenger, Instagram, even Snapchat. There’s a ton of messages there, so as long as we find enough to cover each month, it might help make up for lack of FaceTime calls because it’s starting to look like we can only acquire so much. That’s what I’m thinking at the moment.
Really wishing now we used WhatsApp or Skype since they seem better at giving history.  ::)

So I’m wondering if ECOs consider some forms of communication over others. We want to give enough to show we communicate daily, but showing the mass amounts of communication from all of these messaging apps seems ridiculous. I’m wondering if we shoot for something every two weeks (messages and calls) that we’ve been apart then that might suffice.

Yep, we’ve now run in to a problem getting these FaceTime call logs. While the program my husband found pulled loads, there are months missing. I tried my phone with the program as well but had no luck with filling those gaps. Some months are partially missing, some months we were together anyways so I figured those are fine, but this still leaves five whole months of calls missing. We do have messages from those times, so we’ll still be able to prove we communicated then, just not prove the calls.

Any suggestions? The best that I’ve come up with is providing more messages to make up for the gaps in the call list.

Alright, it's time - tomorrow I should be receiving the documents I needed from my husband so I can complete the visa.  ;D I just wanted to run my checklist by you all to make sure we haven't missed anything. I feel confident that we covered everything necessary because I've been over it all several times, but I'd kick myself if I didn't have you lovely people look it over as well. I have the application saved because I'm waiting to make sure all the documents come through okay. I'll submit it, pay fees, and schedule biometrics once my husband's package arrives safely.

So here's what we'll have to submit:

Priority processing receipt
Application
Appendix 2 (completed for category B due to my spouse's wacky income)
Biometrics receipt (I'll make sure it's stamped when I complete the appointment)
Visa fee receipt
IHS fee receipt
Return label (will be using VFS for round-trip on the package)

Applicant letter
Current passport
Old passport
Passport photos (the place I had it done gave me two so UKVI is getting two)

Sponsor letter
Sponsor's passport copy (certified at the post office)
Sponsor's decree absolute from his previous marriage

Employer letter
P60
Job contract (just a copy but since it's not necessary I figured a copy is okay)
12 months bank statements
12 months pay slips

Tenancy Agreement
Tenancy Letter approving my stay

Marriage certificate
Photos of us
Boarding passes
Text messages/Snapchat messages that were saved (dates included)
Call logs
Cards we've sent each other

This will also be the order I put them in, so if anyone has critique on that, then fire away.  ;D

What are the date ranges of your bank statements and payslips?

I’m not sure of exact dates, but my husband went to the bank on Thursday to print the most recent statement. I want to say he mentioned it was dated for May 13th. His most recent pay slip is May 12th. We also went back 13 months on both to be safe. I’m double-checking dates and making sure the amounts on the slips match the amounts on the bank statements once I receive it all tomorrow.  :)
Also, his employer letter is dated for May 15th.

My goal is to have this mailed off by the end of the week. If I recall correctly, biometrics can be scheduled for the next day or so, then once it’s done I’ll have the package dropped off the day after.

Ok just making sure you have the FULL 12 months and not any day less. If his last payslip is dated May 12th, then make sure you have payslips and bank statements covering the period from May 12, 2017 to May 12, 2018.

I also added in an extra one month before my specified period because I was paranoid of getting another rejection. Just follow what ksand24, KFdancer, and larrabee say and you'll be fine! ;)

Oh yes, I’ve been paranoid about being short of the 12 month requirement, so we are making sure we are definitely covered. I appreciate you suggesting it and checking in on it.  ;D

Thank you! We’re definitely using priority - not exactly how we wanted it because it’s such a busy time of year, but that’s just how it fell for us.
