At risk of jinxing this once again, but the agent called me out of the blue and wants me to start Monday!

I think this means I will be required to fight XKissOfDeath on sight.  There can only be one mobile phone provider!

Dude you can have that space! It's nor worth the fight! This place stresses me out too much! hahaha My husband has just put me forward for a role in his team to be a PM as they've resorted now to hiring people without experience so will see. I might be out of here and back over at a HPE spinoff haha
My, how time flies....

Guess what happened yesterday on my first day at work?  I show up at 9 and someone says "There's a company meeting at 9:30 and you are giving a speech!".  Seriously, they called me up in front of 80 people for ritual humiliation.

I would be mortified!

How are you liking it besides that? 2 weeks until my new employment adventure starts.

What about Jim? Take it, it was not just you being told to introduce yourself?  ;D

Yes, it was introducing myself and telling the crowd a "fact" (humblebrag) about yourself.  I didn't mind that, but there was a world cup theme going on so I had to hold up a shirt and frame all my ansers with football puns.  I absolutely detest football and everything about it.  I earned every penny that day.

This company is full on.

Whats the average amount of time it has taken someone to get a job in the UK since moving here?

I've been looking and interviewing since I arrived here in December and have yet found something that pays remotely close to what I was making previously/or something where I've liked the company/employer.

I've never had this much difficulty finding a job before.

I finally started a job this week! I rescinded a few application and got ignored or wasn't considered for a few jobs as well. I ended up getting recruited for a management and Personal training position for a London based fitness studio chain. I'm glad at least one company in London was switched on

Congrats on the new job!

I’ve only been here a couple months but I’m starting to get impatient with the job hunt.

I feel your frustration I had been looking since I arrived here in December but also was pretty picky about what I wanted to do and what I was willing to get paid which made things harder. I luckily kept a remote position which helped a lot. Don't know what I would've done without it. My fingers are crossed for you!
