Tonight I will cast my first ballot as a British citizen.  I am SO EXCITED by this and feel very proud to have the privileged to vote in elections now.   ;D

My current Councillor is a fellow American part of my local meetup group.  Pretty easy choice to re-elect.   ;D

Awesome :).

I should go and vote, but I have no idea who any of the councillors on the ballot are, let alone who or what they represent... so I would just be picking one at random  :-\\\\.

Aww, congrats!  Fortunately, I'm not missing an election, as Wales isn't voting today.  But congratulations on your first British vote!  I'm envious.  :P

I didn't realise that what basically looked like a raffle ticket was my ballot.  I could figure out the X easily enough.  hee hee.  Once I looked at it.   ;D
