Root Beer
« on: December 10, 2004, 04:35:41 PM »
I found it! Hallelujah!

Just last week I was telling Jon how I wanted to bring some back with us when we visited my folks in February. He told me we were not going to bring fizzy pop into the plane (but little did he know) and this week I found it!

Yay!

There are two bars in town that get it imported from Chicago. I am in root beer heaven.

I am on my way to the bar now to drink myself silly on root beer. I'm even tempted to see if they'll sell me a crate to take home. Whee!
There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.

If you're feeling brave, you can make it yourself.  Cybercandy sells the rootbeer "base."

I found an A&W root beer resturant somewhere just outside of Manchester on my last trip to England! It was in with a KFC.
