I have a lot of security lights to scare off badgers, (keep away from my chooks) so perhaps the hedgehogs are frightened of them.

Yeah, this is totally happening here.  Need to tell my husband.  He was just as excited as I was to see our visitor last summer.  I'm confident he will support putting holes in our fences for this.  :)

Something has been setting off my security lights almost every night, just a little after dark. I had thought it was probably a cat passing by but now I'm hoping it was hedgehog related!   ;D

I just saw him again, yay!!!  :D He was in the same area, close to some of the bird feeders. Can't wait until his little house arrives!    #homesweethome!  :D

It was so cool!   :D He  was wary and when I got really close for the second pics, his prickles tensed a little bit but he was really not too put out by my being there.
