Congratulations on your nephew!  You’ll be around to see him grow which is amazing.  I have 4 nieces and nephews and none of them live in the UK.   :\\\'(  My kids don’t know their cousins. :-\\\\

That's so tough - I have a sister who is 16 and it is difficult to know we will be so far apart when I finally get my visa!

My kids are turning 19, 21 and 23 this year. I had to leave them behind to move here. At least we have vacations.

Same here. My son (or children, if there’s more after him) won’t grow up with cousins. That was one of my favorite things growing up, having lots of cousins to hang out with.

We are getting close to submission date! My husband rang Beth at Medivisas this morning for clarification on a few points, and one of the things she recommended was getting a letter from the company accountant stating that my husband is not a shareholder, etc. He is picking it up tomorrow morning and sending it DHL so I should have it by Thursday or Friday, then we will submit. My biometrics should be easy - my local office takes walk ins and they are never busy so we may even be able to have everything done by Friday, fingers crossed!

So simple!  Love it!

Right!? She has had a few clients with our circumstances who have had successful applications under Category A with that letter as a part of their application, so we are feeling a lot more optimistic!

I received all the papers from my husband in the UK today, with the exception of the accountant's letter. So here is how I have everything organized in the application packet:

VFS priority shipping receipt
Return shipping label
Cover Letter-signed
Application (signed on 2 pages, with passport photo attached)
Appendix 2 - pgs 1-13 (there's no place to sign this, right?)
email receipt for IHS payment
Refusal letter
Certified copy of husband's UK passport
Support letter from my husband- signed
6 months original payslips and bank statements, plus P60- I will add the letter from the accountant here
Employment contract - signed by husband and his employer
Employment letter verifying non-salaried status, rate of pay, guaranteed weekly hours, minimum annual pay, granting permission for me to live in provided accommodation with my husband, and addressing previous payroll discrepancies (even though those months are not included in this new application - signed by employer
Marriage certificate - certified copy
Pictures of us together (individual pics + facebook photos)
Screenshots of correspondence when we are apart
copies of joint travel itenararies
plane/train ticket stubs from travels
My current and expired passports + passport photo

Did I miss anything?!! Also, can I organize it with plastic pockets, paperclips etc?

 :) :) :)

I'll let the experienced crew comment on the evidence but just put everything in a neat pile with no paperclips etc. That's what they'll do with it anyways so it's not worth the effort :)

Nope - do not use plastic pockets or binders or anything like that... it just gives Sheffield a ton more work to do in order to take everything out of the pockets before they process the application.

Just organise the documents into sensible sections (for each requirement) and place together in the package. If you like, you can secure them with elastic bands or string.

I don't see your accommodation requirement evidence on your list (also, I have rearranged a few things):

Applicant Documents
- VFS priority shipping receipt
- Return shipping label
- Cover Letter-signed
- Application (signed on 2 pages)
- VAF4a Appendix 2
- email receipt for IHS payment
- Refusal letter
- My current and expired passports
- passport photo

Sponsor Documents
- Certified copy of husband's UK passport
- Support letter from my husband- signed

Financial Documents
- 6 months original payslips
- 6 months original bank statements
- letter from the accountant
- Employment letter
- Employment contract
- P60

Accommodation Documents
?

Relationship Documents
- Marriage certificate - certified copy
- Pictures of us together - I would take out the Facebook photos... you only want to include 2 photos, ideally printed on proper photo paper. I'd go for one from the wedding and one from early in the relationship
- copies of joint travel itenararies
- plane/train ticket stubs from travels

- Screenshots of correspondence when we are apart

Photocopies of all original documents you want to be returned
