Thank you!

I am hoping to submit our online application next weekend I am just waiting for my husbands documents to get here.

I will post our list of documents once we are ready to send it out.

No problem :).

Please post your list of documents BEFORE you submit the online application... because if you are missing something, then it’s best to find that out before you apply, so that you have enough time to get hold of any missing documents.

Once you apply online, you only have 5 days from the biometrics appointment to mail everything off, and you don’t want to be in a position where you can’t get hold of the missing documents in time to meet the 5-day deadline.

I am making photocopies of all the documents I want back ie...passports, marriage certificates now.  I am just wondering how we should arrange them??  Should I attach it to the original or should I have a separate section for the photocopies.

Should I also include the CENOMAR from the Philippines I was required for my daughters passpor just in case ?  I am an American citizen but born in the Philippines.

Thank you

Thank you Larabee!!

If anyone can answer me about the CENOMAR question that would be great also.

My other question is we will be applying priority.

Do we pay the priority after I submitted my application along with the NHS surcharge fee ?

Is the same website for the shipping where we pay for the priority fee ???

Thank you 🙏

You pay the priority along with the shipping on the VFS global website.

You pay the IHS along with the application fee when you submit the application.

Hi Everyone,

I might be able to secure a job before moving to the UK.  My question is would a letter or a contract with a salary of more than £19k a year be sufficient to meet the financial requirement.  I am the US citizen.

Thank you

Unfortunately not - the US citizen’s potential income cannot be considered for the visa.... unless they already hold a visa that allows work in the UK.

No, it has to be the UK citizen meeting the financial requirements if using one of the employment routes.
