I haven’t seen my husband since January. This is the longest we’ve been apart, we always saw each other every 3 months. 😩 I do try to keep myself occupied as much as possible, also sleeping helps, but at this point it’s just constantly on my mind. Like as soon as I wake up or finish doing something, it’s the first thing that pops back up. I honestly don’t know how to cope with it because it’s just beyond stressing me out.

Have you tried running or some other exercise that you enjoy? That can help too.

It will be over soon, and you will forget how awful the wait was! Hang in there.  :)

Ugh I know exactly what you mean! When my husband went back to the UK, I decided to get a volunteer job. I'm working 6 days a week at a horse rescue - literally sun up to sun down. The physical work keeps me occupied and makes the days go by much faster. Try and find something intense to keep you busy, see if that helps! We have been waiting since February and this is the only thing keeping me sane!

I’m thinking about taking a quick trip to help me relax. Am I allowed to travel while my visa is being processed. It’s going to be domestic so I would only need my ID.

That's a great idea! Actually, my friend just invited me to DC today so I may do the same - get away for awhile! You should be fine traveling domestically with just your drivers license. Just double check with your airline or airport because of the Real ID Act:

I hope you go somewhere warm where you can relax and enjoy yourself!!

I’m planning to go to Puerto Rico to see family. So it should be a very relaxing trip.
I live in Nevada and I do have the new ID.

Got an email this morning that a decision has been made! Package expected at my doorstep this Thursday... took 29 business days from the time they said they’d received our application (priority processing ... package received email sent May 16). Very anxious!
