Bras.

I'm always confused by the bras one... I REALLY struggled to find bras in the US that were affordable. I mean, sure I could pay $54+ for a single bra that actually fit in the US plus shipping... But here in the UK? £24 pounds, they're cute and they fit great. The UK is bra heaven for me!
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I missed salsa verde, but finally found a source for tomatillo seeds, so trying to grow some to make my own. I have extra plants I will give to anyone located anywhere near me. They will need transplanting pretty soon though! PM if you want any all (about 12 that are still small that I can't bear to destroy, but have no large pots or room for planting on).

I wish I had a garden to put them into. I would be all over this generous offer. I'm hoping next year to have a house so I can start a garden. I found a great recipe for salsa verde on All Recipes that will be awhile before I can make.

I always bring back Hidden Valley Ranch and Neosporin.  I have a friend who is on a beer trip in California just now, and he's bringing both items back for me.

HV Ranch is now available through Amazon, but it's expensive... like £10 for a box of 4 ranch packets.

Ahh yes, I brought some over the last time I went, I need to buy more. I use it for salad dressing but also for my cheese ball.

Agree with the others that you can find a lot of substitutions or make your own. I love cinnamon sweets, like Big Red gum and cinnamon disks, so I bring those back. Twizzlers, seasonal/holiday candies that are hard to come by in UK (like the Reese's pumpkins in fall). Boxed mac and cheese. Can you see a pattern with the kind of food I bring back? ;D I so wish that I could bring back a big carton of International Delights iced coffee as well.

LOL, only the good stuff for you! I bought a couple of bags of cinnamon Dentyne for the hubs to try. He loves cinnamon candy which he tried when he was here. I also sent him back with some bags of twizzlers. He was a fan.

Oh, you can't get Carnation Instant Breakfast over here. (I think they rebranded it Breakfast Essentials.)  You ~can~ get Pop Tarts, at an outrageous markup.  8)

I see Pop Tarts all the time for regular prices. I've only seen a couple flavours marked up in the American section at Tesco.

Same.  £50 at Marks and Spencers gets me three nice bras that would have been $50 for one back in the US.
