I have a serious crush on Pickford... and Southgate.... and Kane....  I’m gonna need a longer list!   ;D

Pretty excited and surprised by how well England are doing in World Cup. I always make them and the US as part of my three picks, so it’s nice to see them doing well instead of doing terribly and whinging about why they’re not doing well.  ;D

It does irk me that I’m still waiting on a visa and can’t be a part of the party going on in England right now. My husband isn’t a big fan of football anyways and I guess my in-laws are fair weather fans at best, but it’s still a bummer to be in a country where the team didn’t even make it to the tournament.  ::)

Wouldn't an England v France final be interesting? Entente cordiale or Waterloo?
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

I would be rooting for France because I drew them in the work sweepstakes and I want to win!!
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I heard the last time France beat us in a major tournament people went around arbitrarily smashing French branded cars on their way home from pubs. I'd like my car to remain in one piece so I'm genuinely hoping England get knocked out this week.

Disappointing :(. But I didn't think they were playing their best tonight compared to the rest of the tournament.

They did an amazing job overall though :).

I agree. But I’m leaving hubby alone tonight. Many F bombs were dropped followed by tears.

English pride is so big with him. I feel sad for him lol

One of my employees works at a pub on the side.  She got roped into working last night's game.  She said there were a LOT of men crying.  They really do care!
