Popcorn and Mexican food!
« on: June 27, 2018, 03:43:42 PM »
Hey y’all!
I hope everyone is well.

I’ve been happily living in Hampshire for nearly two months now and I am feening for buttery popcorn, a good margarita, and Mexican food in general.
I went to Tesco last night looking for just plain popcorn kernels and I struck out.
I’ve already got a bag ready to be purchased in my amazon cart but I was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with this?
I can obviously cook Mexican food and make margaritas. Lol
But it’s a bit hard to make popcorn without the corn!

I've seen plain popcorn kernels in The Food Warehouse (by Iceland) the two times I've been in there.  It didn't occur to me to think they're unusual, but now that you mention it, it is the first time I've really noticed seeing them in the UK.

Yay!
Thank you!
I’ll pop by on my way home from work. There’s one about 50 feet away

Aww, yay!  I'm glad you found some!  Food cravings satiated are what life is all about!  (Yes, that's it.  Just eating what you love.)

Yay popcorn. I've never had an issue finding the kernels.  I bought an air popper about 8 years ago from Lidl in their specials aisle and the thing is ace.  It may 'pop' :P into the aisles every once and again.

I make a mean margarita using lime cordial for extra lime umph. But yeah, the mixes are definitely available.

I've never gotten food on my underpants!

It's fun to make them from scratch! It's been so long though that I can't even remember my recipe any more!  ;D

I definitely wanna make my own mix. The lime cordial is a great idea!
