Is nut-free butter a thing?
« on: June 28, 2018, 08:51:11 AM »
Anyone found any nut-free butter in normal (non-specialty) grocery stores in the UK?  I like Sunbutter brand but am not picky. Husband is allergic to peanuts/tree nuts, but I'm pregnant and so far this kid is basically made of peanut butter and tacos.

I have not.  While you will find peanut butter here, it isn't nearly as popular as it is in America.  That's an item you may want to bring with you!  :)

I've never seen it in regular grocery stores, but 'health food' stores, like Holland and Barrett, local ones, etc should be helpful.

Yes, I've had good luck with peanut butter at  Tesco, but I'm hoping to not kill my husband. Will bring a few jars of Sunbutter to tide me over. Thanks!

You can also find it on amazon. They have almond butter in Sainsbury's but not any of the others. :(
