I'm using factor 50 sunblock.  The next step is a balaclava helmet and a full body suit!

I want clouds!  I want rain!

I'm in Central Scotland. It's absolutely lovely and not ROASTING! I'm wearing a jumper right now.

It can stop this now. Really. Anytime. Preferably now.

Excuse me, Meterological Gods, but may I please have more of the cool, damp, cloudy days with the pleasant breeze again, sirs/madams?

THIS! So. Much. This.

Ksand24 has the power to intercede, but refuses!

How long must we swelter?

The thing is, my neighbours have purchased a tramboline. I was sitting in my darkened room reading a book on French porcelain this morning with a cup and it starts.

Ah, see, the problem is that I love the hot weather and want to see it continue for as long as possible :P.

In 4 weeks' time, I'm going to be living in Southern Hemisphere winter, where the maximum temperatures this week have been between -1 and 3 degrees Celsius and there's a couple of inches of snow on the ground... so I'm trying to make the most of the fact that we actually have a summer here for once!

I feel your pain, we all post happily about Phatbeetle playing her tramboline but nobody ever thinks about the neighbours.

Weather reports say another 10 days of this. It was 3 for 2 on the ice cream at Waitrose, so we have stocked up on the Solero :)

Actually, I have to admit, its been rather pleasant at least in London. I was dreading it given last summer there were a few stretches where it was hot and humid and no breeze and at least if you have some air movement its ok. We have an unfinished loft space which means the upstairs gets really hot but its been ok to sleep at night.

Now that could all change the minute it gets humid, so in about a week perhaps? Storms supposedly incoming before temps sink back to the low 70s about 9 July.

However the fetes on the green can stop ANY time - Ive been hearing snippits from a bad cover band all day so the breeze DOES have its minuses!  ;D

My neighbours love this time of year when the windows are open and they get a free concert.......    ;D

I used to live in a little guest house right by the Hollywood bowl. It was awesome!  :D
