Thanks, I see now. It doesn't look like you're logged in at that point, is there a dialogue box at the top of the page? There would be for guests, but it looks like it needs to be set fixed so it can't be scrolled past.
This is what the notification email looks like, I usually just clink on the link and away I go.....but now, it’s all smoked

Recent unread topics-

To find it, I'm hitting home then clicking on unread posts on the right at the top. I'm getting "no unread topics..." but I know there are because I have the email alerts.

Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, and if you click the link now, do you see a box with buttons to Accept or Decline?

I like the new style and it is working smoothly on my iPad using Safari. The only issue I have is the light blue text for forums and topics. I find it a bit hard to read but I am old, so that might be why!
Married 1966, left UK 1969, returned 1998, left again 2000, returned June 2014 (husband on spousal visa) granted FLR(M) November 30th 2016 (yeah!)

Thanks for letting me know. I'll adjust the blues this week to try to improve that. :)

Also please note that if you're looking for the unread posts/replies links, they are at the top left now, the document icons on the black bar under the logo.

Back to the blue text - very difficult for me to read also.
Married December 1992 (my 'old flame' whom I first met in the mid-70s)
1st move to UK - 1993 (Letter of Consent granted at British Embassy in Washington DC)
ILR - 1994 (1 year later - no fee way back then!)
Back to US in 2000
Returned to UK July 2011 (Spousal Visa/KOL endorsement)
ILR - September 2011
Application for naturalization submitted July 2014
Approval received 15-10-14; ceremony scheduled for 10 November!
Passport arrived 25 November 2014. Finally done!

Thank you! I was somewhere completely different.   ;D

I still have jerkiness.  :\\\'( Does anyone else have the jerkiness?

Jimbo has the jerkiness. Because he's a jerk.

Everything is working fine on my desktop. But I really preferred the old layout, as this has sooo much extraneous visual information that is distracting. (I imagine I'll get used to it.)

Oh, that's funny. I feel the same way but I thought it was just me as I'm not great with change!  :). The other site felt like a wonderfully comfortable, old pair of shoes, now I feel like I'm trying to walk in high heels!!!

That is a really apt description.  I saw the new look yesterday on my phone, but I was having the not-loading issue so just closed it and decided to give it 'til I got to my laptop before I made a full assessment of the new digs.  I'm ... lost.  I've spent the better part of the afternoon trying to orient myself.

I'd also hoped that when I got to my laptop, I would find that I got my "like" button back.  It's still missing.  (Windows 10, Firefox 60.0.2)
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued

8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

Everything seems to be working fine for me,  Leah.  I only use a laptop at home, with Chrome, and my work desktop with IE.
