Being on holiday on the sea for two weeks is absolutely glorious ( barely even have phone reception) it was much needed and I got some unexpected happy news while here. Life couldn’t be better ( besides winning the lottery lol).

Look at the police car in the background. Remember what it was like to live in a place where the police drive around and catch criminals?

I saw a really American looking police car yesterday. I don't know what that was all about.  It was a Crown Victoria and had the word 'Police' written on the side in blue lettering.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
Work permit (2007) to British Citizen (2014)
You're stuck with me!

We have one that drives around our town as well. I think somebody owns it for fun

Big day out in London yesterday

First we went out to anti Boris demo

Then checked out the Microsoft store on Oxford Circus as a sweetener to get my son to agree for a long walk .  Funny to see how much Microsoft is willing to copy apple.

Then on to my favourite ice cream place, Chin Chin’s where they make each batch fresh with liquid Nitrogen

That looks like a great day! I was wondering if you'd be at the protests. I'm glad the people who are able to are speaking up and being visible around the country!

There used to be a pizza place here,  and their delivery car was one of those, done up like NYPD (only they did NY Pizza Delivery), when the Daughter was studying here back in 2014. Wonder if it's the same one?

Or filming, yeah.

There's an NYPD car and a yellow New York taxi in Glasgow... i think they might be owned by the people who own the TriBeCa restaurant.

Unfortunately, we didn't plan for the demo especially, but decided to stop by as we were going to be walking around anyway.  I've already seen one huuuuge anti Brexit demo completely ignored, so my enthusiasm for further ones is diminished.

Yeah, the way the media is presenting things is pretty questionable at this point. I don't know what will happen, but it does give me a sliver of hope that there were demonstrations the day he asked to prorogue parliament and since.
