We don't typically do much, we just have a nice meal, but this year it just snuck up on us so fast and we have Japan to pay for that we just said "no gifts at all" but we're going for a meal in Windsor (which I didn't think he'd want to do as Windsor is just far enough that it doesn't seem like what you'll want to do on a weeknight after work so that is treat enough :) )

I'm DYING to hunt down this food truck in Windsor.  Let me know if you want to go on a hunt with me one night.

I love that it's a proper food truck that gives you hints, not exact locations! haha

Yup, I'm told that you do usually have to find where they are.  And that you need to get there early because they sell out quick.

Well done not trying to smother each other yet!  May you have many more years of mutual tolerance for each other's survival!

Happy anniversary!  Do you exchange gifts?  If so, what did you get him?

My husband got me a pen for our 5th....   ::)

Hahahha!  My husband came home from work on our 5th, and I was there with a homemade card, and the wrapped wooden pizza peel (because 5th is wood), and his entire being just slumped.  He looked crushed because he lost track of the days and didn't realize it had arrived.  So, in short, I got nothing, and my gift made him sad because it was a reminder that he had failed.

But I only gave him an inexpensive gift that was for both of us.  And he loved the card I made, and that was gift enough.  He's very encouraging of my "art".  He's awesome.

We came across Chester Draws two nights ago.  My husband was nearly in tears laughing at the description.

Not yet

Girl, I'm lucky if I get the folded before I do next week's wash.  Decorating isn't high on my priority list.  ;)
