Please follow up again jfkimberly!  :).  Or give me permission to speak on your behalf and I will call them!   ;D

I phoned yesterday.  The receptionist/nurse said the notes said one doctor was supposed to talk to the other doctor, and she wasn't sure if that had happened so she would check with them and phone me back.  I'll call again Monday.  And then maybe Tuesday.  Then Wednesday... I'll phone every day 'til I know for sure that somebody has finally done anything.  Eighteen months!

Sounds really disorganised there.  :-\\\\  Maybe make anther appointment too just in case they decide it's been too long and they need to see you again, you can always cancel it if you get confirmation that they have gone ahead with the referral.

Probably a good idea... if nothing else, if I keep being a nuisance, they'll make the referral just to get rid of me.

Meanwhile, I was getting annual echos in the US, and now I'm 18 months since requesting a cardio referral and being told (TWICE!) that they would do it, and still not certain it's been submitted...  ::)

Hubby is still waiting for his referral to the Neurologist... It's been at least 6 months for this on and getting to the rheumotologist took more than a year. Definitely do PALS (or equivalent) it's who my mother in law has told my hubby to contact.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Waiting for the referral to happen or the referral has been made and he's waiting for the appointment?

Literally waiting for the actual referral paperwork, whether they give him a date and time or have him schedule it himself. It's for a possible diagnosis of MS... So I don't get why it hasn't happened. He's called multiple times. This is a consultants office.

I got my referral paperwork in a week. I had to wait two months for the appointment, but I got the paperwork.

Oh dear, that must be worrying. I hope he gets something from them soon.

We ended up in Bracknell with the inlaws because the drive back from Windsor would've taken too long with traffic, I got a bit winded but it was nice seeing them! And look at these cute lego creatures on display. I had to get a photo of the zebras of course.

It's a Dacia Duster... exactly what I'm currently driving, only newer and shinier!  And with cruise control!  ;D

I never get to use cruise! The roads here are always too busy. But it is a nice perk :D
