I also asked why I passed 5 "Family Friendly Gatwick" buggy stations and not one had a single buggy. She said, "Mothers just leave them down in baggge claim instead of returning them." Ummmm... yeah... they do. Because that's where they finally get their own buggy back. And it's not like you can go BACK through passport control to return them to the pick up points. Patronising woman!
And our buggy was destroyed. ![Roll Eyes ::)](https://www.talk.uk-yankee.com/Smileys/classic/rolleyes.gif)
Seriously?! Were they honestly thinking people were actually going to attempt to return the buggies? No. They need to have staff keeping an eye on that stuff.
Sorry to hear about your buggy.

On the way out, we found out you can ask for a lanyard from the assistance desk if you have invisible disabilities (e.g. colitis) which will get you to the front of any queue in the airport. But I think you have to ask - employees didn't seem too bothered about singling you out automatically. We got to board the departing plane first, anyway.
Arriving in Gatwick wasn't too bad because e-gates, baby! Shame you can't use 'em with kiddos.

But Cancun was absolute chaos. Three flights back to the UK were all leaving within 45 minutes of each other so it was just heaving the whole time. We were first off, though.
