Thank goodness! What an amazing feat!

RIP to the diver who died.

I know! Navy Seal as well :( That was definitely unfortunate but I am relieved that all the children were able to make it out while the rains held off because had it rained as expected, who knows what would've happened! No casualty is a good casualty by any means, but thankful it wasn't a higher number!

Excellent news about the kids.  And horrible about the Navy Seal, however he did not give his life in vain.  He saved 12 lives with his efforts.

My moment of happiness - just had a large portion of the 100 plane flyover, fly over the office!  I'll load some pics from Tapatalk.  No one does Pomp and Circumstance like the Brits!!

Awesome :D!

I had to watch it on TV, though I do know the pilots of the Shadows, Sentinel, E-3D and Rivet Joint, since I brief them every day :P. Didn't get to see them this morning though as I'm on a day off, but I did give a mass brief to them for the practice run last week :).

Have to say, when I was finishing my night shift yesterday, I was a little worried whether they would have a high enough cloud base over the holding area this morning, but it seems they were all fine :).

Very cool.  They did some spectacular formations.  These are screen grabs from videos, which are really good.  I did edit the top photo slightly so you can see the contrast a bit better for the 100 formation they were flying in.  SO GOOD!!!

Today really reminded me of everyone flooding out of the office to watch a space shuttle launch.  I miss those days and this brought back good memories and created a good memory too!

That's cool that you were close enough where you lived to be able to see the shuttle!

I used to get annoyed by the few colleagues who wouldn't go outside to watch.  "There's one every month."  Well, you know what?  We are the only place in the world that can watch shuttle launches - go enjoy it!!

It was also cool when they landed getting the double sonic boom.  And when they had to land in California, they piggy backed the shuttle back to Florida on the back of a 747 and would do a low flyover the beach for the public.  Such a shame that the shuttle program is no more!!!!!  Makes me sad.

Watched Space Shuttle Challenger explode while standing in my front yard.

I always felt truly special living on the Space Coast. Nothing like growing up in that culture.

Little Moment of Happiness in my household yesterday. I put my husband on a lower carb diet a few weeks ago. He's quite pleased and announced to me yesterday that he can now see his penis again. Yeah for "little moments".  By the way, I'm a horrible wife. Lmfao

Oh Tami.

My moment of happiness was my husband helping me out of the car  with no judgment when I got home. Our training is in "board room" type chairs with no back support, so that added onto the commute = my back saying a big ol' nope.

Do you guys have an occupational therapist at your office that you could contact/speak to? They could potentially get you a special chair :)

Going to ask HR. The regular desk chairs are better but not amazing.
