Got back from Belgium with my new stomach/internal plumbing last night, and there are no words for how great it was sleeping in my own bed last night!!!  ;D  So happy to be home!

Yay! Welcome home!  ;D

It went fine; no complications (yet)… touch wood!
Just praying not to get a blood clot, as I can't bear wearing the painfully tight surgical stockings for 10 days.

Maybe you could get some slightly lower compression stockings to wear the rest of the time? I'm in the boat of needing them for low BP but the most I can tolerate is 20mmHg and would wear nursemate stockings for work.

Great news.  Try to keep moving without overdoing it and hopefully all will be well.

I can’t decide if this is an inconvenient annoyance or a little moment of happiness...  ;D

Got free sweets at work yesterday.  Including Skittles (which I love).  Imagine my surprise when I opened the pack....

I think that would be an IA for me. I *hate* mixing flavors but eating just one skittle at a time is so slow.

Those Skittles are definitely an IA for me, as i don't eat yellow, green or orange sweets... with those, i wouldn't be able to do my weird segregation thing.

What I find odd is they handed out skittles that were for Pride Month, June 2017 over a year later.

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.
