What I find odd is they handed out skittles that were for Pride Month, June 2017 over a year later.

They’ve been cleaning out the warehouse and us vultures happily devour expired products!  ;D

XoD would die!

We have 40 pallets of crisps that they have been bring over and we’ve been gleefully bringing home!

I'm surprised they're allowed to do it with all the health and safety froufaraw that's in place over here.

And she would wouldn't she?

I don't mind eating certain things beyond date, but some things are inedible... Ugh. We made a cheesecake with rancid Graham crackers once. They smelled fine. It ruined a $20 cheesecake...

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

It’s all “best before” stuff.

Our clients get the options of:
1.  Having stock returned (costs money)
2.  Storage (costs less money)
3.  Disposal (costs even less money)
4.  We distribute to our staff (free)

;D

That's cool! Free snacks are always awesome! Eating something after a best before date is no issue, but eating it after a use by date... can be a bit iffy! haha.

Also, those are a no go for me, even though I eat my skittles one at a time usually, because I couldn't pick out the purple ones. Grape was edible, black currant is not!

The big reason for the warehouses clear out is two fold:

1.  Making room for Christmas season
2.  The amount of alcohol our reports say we have is staggering.   Could be a fun Christmas....

Christmas!!!!!

Yo Ho Ho!
I may have stopped in M&S just browsing sales, and happened upon their Xmas sock display and purchased a pack which included penguins wearing sparkly antlers.

Xmas

Hard to imagine rancid graham crackers!  I'd have thought they'd just go soft and stale.

I must be the only person here who loves just throwing handfuls of Skittles into my mouth, not caring about the colour.

I've started to organise tons of Christmas stuff, already as musicians need to plan gigs early.  My diary is filling up already and I've already started rehearsing Christmas music.  I'm a bit bah humbug, but give me a few weeks and I'll get there.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Had a really nice day today, started off by going to the Hayward gallery

I really like this puddle of oil

Look closely, that's me and the boy in the beanbag

Then it was off to the Kingdom of Sweets

And finally the destination carefully chosen by my gadget obsessed boy: The world's biggest Apple Store

I'll be in London on the 27th (remember I'm seeing Les Mis which is why we moved the blizzard party).  I can get something from an American Candy shop.  The prices are usually 4x what you think they should be.  So Boston Baked Beans are probably £4-£5.

They are £3 for a movie theatre box at my American Sweets shop.

Okay, to be honest, I'm allergic to peanuts and haven't had Boston Baked Beans in 25 years.  But if they have Red Hots, I can compare their price to Amazon...

It's so annoying to see "25c" on the box and know they'll cost a ridiculous amount.  :/
