We got back home tonight and Elly happily settled into her spot between my husband and I on the couch. He sneezed and scared her off, and gave her some "I'm sorry" fussings on the ground. The second she realised his spot on the couch was now free she made a beeline for it and wouldn't move. Now my husband is sitting on half a cushion with a very smug cat behind him. This is the first time she's done this!

To say I've been severely depressed and struggling with anxiety would be an understatement. But, things are slowly improving. I caught up on laundry (it's so hard to do when you can only wash and dry one tiny load a day). I rejoined twitter after avoiding it for a few years and discovered some great projects. Getting the hang of how things are structured with the volunteer group and finally being helpful to them. It is the little things, and getting so much done this week has helped! Now to hope the GP sorts my referral to the gastroenterologist so I can eat again.

Oh no, you're still not able to eat? How horrid. I hope they get you sorted soon.   :)

Nope. But hey, no gaining weight over Xmas and I look "good"? (I have about a stone before I hit underweight) The referral finally went in the system this Monday, even though it was requested 3 weeks ago! But it genuinely could be worse and that's why I am still sane.

Warehouse clearout this week has been of Fanta Zero stock.  A different flavor each day.  I have 6 cases each (24 cans per case) of Orange, Fruit Twist, Blood Orange, and Pink Grapefruit.  I may have already discovered that each flavor is AMAZING with rum.  I cannot wait for dry January to be over and get my free Fanta/rum on!

Meanwhile I haven't taken any of said Fanta out of my car and my fuel economy is dropping more each day.   ;D

How did you discover this if dry January isn't over yet...?   ;)

Because I had samples of all the flavors in October!  I have been 100% dry all month!

Though, I will likely break it tomorrow night with our fancy meal in London.  But I'll remain dry on Feb 1st to make up for it.  ;D

Swapping tomorrow for February 1st seems perfectly reasonable to me.  Have a great time!

Seriously though, if I were to be pulled over on the way home and asked to open my trunk, the officer would think I'm trafficking Fanta.

Adding some Fanta zero to my shopping list to drink with rum..............  Just wish they would bring back the zero lemon one!

I remember we used to drink grape Fanta as a kid.  Haven't had that in about 20 years!

The Pink Grapefruit is my favourite.
