My husband bought me something horrible.  He totally misjudged this item. He could tell immediately when he gave it to me. He took it to a charity shop today so I no longer have to look at it. Hurray!

It was one of those jewellery holders that looks like a Victorian doll but without a head. She had hanging wires instead of a head. She was wearing a grey silk gown with some kind of feather boa. Jesus... shutter. I hate dolls, by the way.

haha...at least he tried?? (but seriously..yikes...at least he took it in stride and got rid of it lol)

My husband just surprised me by booking a flight to come see me in America while I am waiting on my spouse visa - we haven't seen each other in over 2 months. I'm absolutely ecstatic ♡

We are only halfway through, but my moment of happiness is finally starting to organise the living room. We got a sound bar/sub from a friend moving back home, so we set that up and finished putting up our second cd/dvd shelf so everything is organised. *phew* It's hard to feel "home" when there are still boxes in the middle of your living area and it's untidy! And because there needs to be more cats here, she napped while we were hard at work..

I am buzzing.  Taught my first dance classes in the UK today, a long eight year wait!

This is the piece that’s been missing for me to have a whole heart of happiness.  I’ve nearly been in tears a few times today as I’m so happy!

Maybe this really will be my forever home.  But it’s hard as parents get older.  Oh well, time will tell.  My folks are still young!

Awww! I'm glad to hear it went well.

Just curious - Will your kids be in any of your classes?

Oh, KF!  I'm so glad it went so well after all the anticipation!  Yay!  (And this isn't just selfishness because you're happier with the idea of staying in the UK forever!  I'm genuinely happy because you are happy!)
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

So happy for you KFdancer! You sound so overjoyed and fulfilled. Your soul just needed to dance.

Nope!  I can get free classes for them but I won’t teach them.

I can definitely understand that. Free classes are helpful if they're interested in it though! :)

We're getting the bathroom paint tonight as well so the bathroom is just a coat or two of paint away from being completely done and dusted! :D I also made time yesterday to go through and organise our bedroom.
