If you’ve got the My Vodafone app, make sure to claim your £10 free bottle of fizz (or use it like a coupon) in honour of the royal baby being born! Don’t click claim until you’re ready though as it only lasts for an hour and it can only be claimed at Majestic Wine (so make sure you have one near you!).

Two interviews next week!  For roles in my sector!  For equal/better pay!  I was a bit of an idiot and scheduled them on different days - as a result, I will be spending 6 hours on the bus going to/from the same town instead of 3, however this is cause for cautious celebration nevertheless!  Wahoo!

And the two separate days is probably good in case the first interview is longer than anticipated. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone!  I am trying not to count my chickens, and all that, but I may or may not have daydreamed a few times already about how I'm going to show my current job "my special fingers," as KFD would say.

A little plastic piece of our bathroom's fan heater broke. It looked easy enough to fix if I could figure out what company to call to get another one, but the heater is made under several different brand names, so it looked like one of those things that could easily turn into a wild goose chase.

Instead, a little Googling led me to the main company, and when I called them I got a very helpful customer service rep who promised to mail me a part in two days. The part arrived today, and in just a few minutes I was able to fix the heater!

This impresses me far more than my little "like" suggests.  I love it when a company just does a good thing.
