Saw Hugh Jackman last night.  The man is a top rate performer.  I highly recommend going if you have the chance!

Just had my "reward statement review" (year end bonus chat and all that). I've been recognised as a top performer!! :D  Just got a 10% payrise (which is probably better than I'd get if I were to move roles internally and get a raise that way) and a bonus! Super happy! it's not even about the financial benefit (obviously I'm pleased with that), but it was definitely more (for me) about the fact I was recognised as a top performer when I know I've been busting my balls for the last year.
My, how time flies....

WAAAHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I told my line manager that literally it felt nice just to get recognised because I felt like I was working hard and out of hours and all that to just get things done and working correctly, and there were so many demotivating things that this helped me feel motivated again and all that. I have to keep it hush (which I would anyways, as I don't discuss figures with coworkers) because apparently I got the highest increase in salary!

Good thing this thread is called “Little Moments…” plural. Here are two:

Looking outside and seeing one of these guys. Love ‘em.

Looking back inside and seeing my little guy. Really love him.

We went to Cornwall last week and it was absolutely lovely. I snagged a few photos from out trip with my mobile and a ton of them with my DSLR.

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

My friend sent me a picture of my daughter and I at her daughters first birthday... 16 years ago. A lot has changed since then.
