Paying Passport Renewal Fees
« on: July 18, 2018, 05:52:38 PM »
So I'm trying to update my name on my USA passport from here in the UK.

I did a passport renewal here just 2 years ago, so I thought I knew the system.  Much to my surprise, the US Consulate no longer accepts credit cards for passport renewals!  ??? >:(

Does anyone know how to get a "foreign bank draft" or "international money order" here?

I know I can get one at my UK bank if I wait 24 hours, but I'd prefer to get one online so my passport can be sent tomorrow when the courier comes.

Anyone done this before?

There is no quick option.  24 hours from your bank is fabulous.  Go with that!
