Soap residue on my dishes. I'm going to need to give someone a refresher course.

Me too! Like I'm still dying on the inside and anxiety ridden, but ever since I've opened up and started posting on this forum, I feel soooo much better. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this process, but it's also so much good advice and conversation. I'm grateful! jfkimberly is the one who introduced me to this forum and I am eternally grateful!

I'm married to a Scot so it's "I cannae" for me.  Lmfao

And while we are at it, I fractured my foot last week while on vacation in Amsterdam. I'm at home now, on the couch, missing walking and my work. My husband doesn't know how to cook.

He learned how to cook last night. I taught him how to cook bacon, how to cut an avocado and how to make hamburgers. He was so proud of himself he kept the avocado pit and put it in our seashell jar.

Same here. I accidentally bumped into this group and the first time I bumped into it I was researching for information and couldn't find what I was looking for so I left the page, not realizing it was a forum and then I think it was the next day I actually took a closer look at the page and saw the button for community forum and lurked for a bit and then joined. So glad I did because I do believe I would have alot worse off. You all have made it easier to cope and not that I am glad you all are going through this, like I said yesterday I don't wish these feeling on even my worst enemy but so glad you are at the same time, because I know I'm not alone.

XD omg! I'm the complete opposite....my husband was literally a chef for years. I'm from south Louisiana and people expect me to like, be able to make a pot of gumbo or make some rice and gravy and I'm like "do I look like I know how to make gumbo!?"

LOL But really, that's awesome. You two should give the avocado pit a name.

Oh, no! Get well soon Tami!

You should have him grow the avocado pit and then he'll have a little tree to remember his first success with an avocado by!  :)

Instructions!  ;) https://inhabitat.com/how-to-grow-an-avocado-tree-from-an-avocado-pit/

This forum was suggested when I was in the infancy stage of my visa application. No lie, I lurked and lurked for weeks before actually making an account and a post. Then when I did, KFDancer, I believe, was like "You are missing a few weeks on your bank statements, your visa will be refused if you submit that" I had a panic attack (not your fault KF, because of you I didn't submit that and we ended up switching from fiance to spousal so thanks!) And I avoided the forum like the plague. Every time I got on it I was like "omg omg something is wrong with my application, I suck, these people are so much more experienced than I am!" Once the scary application part was out of the way, I've been feeling way more comfortable to post and read other posts. I can't help too many people, seeing as I'm still a newbie myself, but I've commented on a few! This conversation in particular has been my favo(u)rite!
