Today marks 40 BD for me. they are still playing catch up right now. We are at peak time in the season for visas. I'm seeing that about 40-45 BD's is about the normal time frame but it just all depends where in the queue you are. try and keep busy, just know that when your number is up and you get that pretty shiny sticker(visa) in your passport you will get to look back and share your stories and it will be a distant memory. 
We are here for you...anytime.... you will get through this...You are with a great bunch of people who feel the same thing as you and no one will understand better than all this great people.

Aghhh, I know. I keep telling myself that it's still normal timing but it feels like I'll never hear back! Plus it's tough to keep busy when I have nothing much to do other than panic and watch Love Island hahaha.

But you're right, I know I'll forgot about this all once the visa arrives (we all will). I appreciate all the people in this thread so much. It feels so nice to talk about it without continually annoying my family and friends, lol.

On a more positive note, I just dropped off 4 bags of clothes to goodwill and I'm listing my car for sale right now! It feels so good to start decluttering and getting ready for the big move.
That being said I already miss my clothes and am not looking forward to sharing a small wardrobe with my husband. RIP walk-in closets. </3 LOL

What's going to be the hardest thing for you guys to get rid of?

I think the hardest for me will be my books. I'm bringing some of course (can't move to the UK without Harry Potter...), but I can't take 90% of them    Plus just a bunch of tchotchkes, home decor, and things like that. Thing that make a home a home, you know?

I'm kicking myself because I already sent my first 5 harry potter books home with my husband the last few times he's visited, and all i've been wanting to do lately is reread the series.
I can definitely relate!  I love my books and I have this vintage globe i love and i'm so sad I can't bring it.

Definitely make room for some keepsakes. It'll be more comforting than you realise to have something special that reminds you of home.

The day I fly home will be so conflicting of emotions...Sad but excited....But atleast I know he will be in good hands and my aunt and I will have weekly skype chats so I will still get to see him.

I hate that you guys haven't received your e-mails yet 

I was relieved and then I got all negative wondering why mine was sent before ya'lls, like "Was mine sent back faster because something was wrong with it?"

It's like even with the e-mail my mind found something else to stress over.
Really, really hoping you guys hear back soon and we can all breathe.
