I hate that you guys haven't received your e-mails yet  :-[ :-[ :-[

I was relieved and then I got all negative wondering why mine was sent before ya'lls, like "Was mine sent back faster because something was wrong with it?"

It's like even with the e-mail my mind found something else to stress over.
Really, really hoping you guys hear back soon and we can all breathe.

*chants* Sheffield Sheffield Sheffield! (I'm going to just put this on every post now)

Maybe my chants will help! I want us all to have an answer within the same week or so. Flurry!!!
Both Nathan and I are feeling positive about next week.. It just depends where in the queue you are...We could be in the same pile and if yours was on top of mine then they would have gotten to you first...I think I was a day or 2 ahead of you....so please don't stress or worry...:D :D

Edit: I am mistaken...We submitted almost a week earlier....so....Not to far off...:)

Do you think you'll adopt another cat once your settled in Wales?

If we do, it won't be for awhile. We want to concentrate on us, the wedding, our travels...Maybe next year...But I would feel so guilty to adopt when we got back.

It's so strange to imagine our important packages just piled up in a room somewhere! Trying to stay positive for all of us :D We will be in the UK soon enough. Also, I'm totally going to send ya'll some of my cat photos once I'm home. I have a beautiful diluted calico <3 <3

That makes total sense. I thought it would be nice for guys and to help give another cat in need a home. Obviously not to replace your kitty. I wish we could get a second cat once I move, but Spinelli definitely prefers to be the cat (probably so she can get all of the attention, pets and lap time. :) )

I feel really good about next week too. Let's hope all of these good vibes lead to some decisions.

Aghhh, I know. I keep telling myself that it's still normal timing but it feels like I'll never hear back! Plus it's tough to keep busy when I have nothing much to do other than panic and watch Love Island hahaha.

But you're right, I know I'll forgot about this all once the visa arrives (we all will). I appreciate all the people in this thread so much. It feels so nice to talk about it without continually annoying my family and friends, lol.

It's been SO nice to have you guys! I feel like this thread created a little clique of June/July applications! We're all in the same anxiety boat!

Not that I am getting "rid of" but the biggest heart break is...My cat...
He is an older cat, hate to say it...cost.....but the biggest thing is that my aunt and he have grown rather close. She lost her cat and dog with in a month of each other and  ever since they grew a really strong bond with each and I can't separate them. I know Dave (My cat) will be in a loving and caring home and they will take care of each other.

We really are the same! My cat will be living with my aunt too. I live with her right now, so my cat's gotten used to her and our other cats (we have a whopping 7 of them in one household!)  I truly believe my cat loves her more than me at this point lol!

Oh when we are both ready I will definitely assist on going to a shelter and adopting a cat who needs a loving home...:D When I return we are going to have a crazy hectic schedule until the New Year and we don't want to neglect a new addition in our family.

Yes! My aunt doesn't work, and my uncle just retired so they're going to be home all day to spoil these cats. My aunt already has specific snack and feeding times, toys all around, etc..
So she had 3 cats, then I moved in and Buns got absorbed into the household. Then, where my uncle works, started having loads and loads of stray cats who kept having kittens. My aunt took them and got the adults fixed, and then fostered the kittens and gave them new homes. However, three of the kittens ended up staying in her house as "Fosters" for like two months because they kept getting sick! She couldn't give them homes like that, so she made the mistake of naming them......and BAM three kittens!!! One of her cats, Cali, a feisty thing, doesn't like the kittens....we've seen some turds in the sink....or pee on the walls....we know which cat it is..LOL
