Congratulations to all of you!  This is the happiest discouraged thread anybody will ever read.  :)

aeg0013, I'm sure you'll be receiving your visa today, just like the rest of this happy bunch!

SoonInDevon, those first three seconds must have made you so ill.  Ugh!  I'm so glad you looked further!

8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!

So I opened my package this afternoon and the first thing I saw was the letter saying we could appeal our refusal. My heart sank and I told my husband I thought it was another "no". Then I realised it was just the paperwork from my original refusal!! Guys,  I was beyond devastated for about 3 seconds until I noticed the date!!!!!

Oh my good gosh; that must have been absolutely terrifying.  *hugs*   [smiley=hug.gif]

No worries though; you're through it now, and you will, in fact, be soon in Devon.  :)  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Who in Sheffield thought putting that at the top of the pile would be a good idea? How cruel!

I am so glad all of you got your approvals!! Here is hoping everyone else waiting gets theirs very soon!

I can’t believe they did that! The first thing I saw was my passport in a plastic pouch opened to my vignette so I thought the ECO’s had some sense but I guess not always...

I think that was probably just bad luck rather than anything else. I'm sure it wasn't intentionally done to panic anyone. After all, the visa was granted.  :)

Me too! I'm doing whirlwind visits to family and friends, it's still surreal! And bonus,  my sister and her wife are coming over to visit for the first time in October!

I'm so jealous! I gave my two weeks notice, and I am now working out my 2 weeks, selling my things, etc.

I don't fly out until the 4th :( I mean I am flying out......but I see you all leaving before me and I want to be with my man!!!

Me too! I fly out the 2nd. I was hoping to go earlier, but my husband can't get off work the 30th or 31st and my mom would hate me if I left next week. Lol

We'll all be there so soon though.

I didn't want to put my notice in at my jobs (I have 2) and then have a refused visa and be screwed so I waited. I also have boxes of stuff to sell, money to get sorted, and just stuff that I couldn't do until i had a definite "yes"

I'm just so ready to go
