Back in my day, my visa was approved on January 9th (arrived on the 10th from NYC), and I didn't fly over until February 1st/2nd. Three weeks!  And I didn't have notice to give for work, or a house/apartment to sort out.  It just took me that long to get over here.
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

Bringing this back to the original mood of this thread. I’m on day 39 (46 since biometrics) and don’t know how this has happened. We were told the visa was approved on August 3rd, 12 business days ago. We found this out through our lawyer who emailed a contact hub, and she sent another email last Tuesday following up and still hasn’t heard back. We were told I’d receive notification “any day now” and now over two weeks later we’ve heard nothing. I’m waking up on UK time naturally just so I can check my email at 4:30 am. Seeing others who applied in July get their passports is gut wrenching. I don’t even have a question, I just feel exactly how this thread is titled and don’t know what else to do but post.

Taking applications out of turn is definitely the worst part about the wait.  :-\\\\ What did your lawyer tell you he meant by a "contact hub"?

She hasn’t said, and I haven’t asked. She did specify that it of course wasn’t the caseworker but rather a “contact hub”. I assume it’s the same contact route everyone else has, but I haven’t wanted to ask in fear of that confirmation.

Keep your head up! All of has had this awful feeling up till the moment we received our emails. Decision emails can happen at any time - I wasn’t expecting mine in the slightest when it came. Yours will come at any time now!

There are many reasons for why people get approved out of turn, like if they want to speed up their average processing times. Try not to let it get to you. Stay strong  :)
FLR(M) Timeline:

Online application submitted: April 14, 2021
Biometrics appointment: April 25, 2021
Decision made: April 26, 2021 - emailed at 1:40 pm

Yeah, the contact centre is notorious for misinforming people. And it has probably made your wait worse, believing that a decision was made back then.   There is something to be said for blissful ignorance.

You'll find out when you receive your package whether or not this was the case but by then it won't matter because you'll have your visa!  :)

This meant a lot to me, thanks for the support. Made me tear up a bit on my morning commute! I have a really supportive network but it means a lot coming from someone who really understands.

All of us definitely understand what you are going through. There were a few times, as I am sure the ladies here can tell you, I was a big negative nancy but they helped perked me right up and I felt so much better. You will get through this....I promise.. :D

I was in the same boat as you. I saw everyone around my timeline get their emails and their approvals. All I kept thinking was...where’s mine? Did it get lost? I panicked every day I didn’t get an email. Then I woke up one morning and it was there.

Keep the faith! It will come. And when it does, you’ll forget about this worry  ;D

Tom and I were talking about that yesterday. "Why did we worry so much?" But at the time it's totally justified....It's easy to have your answer and be positive and say "It'll be okay!" But when you're the one waiting....MAN it was hard!!!!

We all got this.

We're trying not to worry about it as much too. It's really easy to worry about it and so hard to not think about it. It's SO hard to wait! Counting down those business days!! :)

I was fine for the first month or so. After about 25 BD  I started losing my mind. I got my email before these lovely ladies, and at first I was like YAY EMAIL then I was like...."Why did I get mine first. WAS IT A REFUSAL?!"

like it was positive and I still turned it into a negative
