I see this news story and my first thought is, "Are they making up this 'threat' to justify a need for Space Force?"

Especially funny since the US has a space ship that looks like a half size shuttle and carries no people.  They regularly send that thing up for months on super classified missions.  So, it's a bit rich for us to moan about a Russian satellite.
