Correspondence for flr(m)
« on: August 21, 2018, 12:27:57 PM »
Hello everyone,

I entered the UK on the 27th of January 2016 and will be applying for flr(m) in September. I would really appreciate it if I can get some input regarding the correspondence I am hoping to submit :

27th May 2016 - Joint Water bill

26th Nov 2016- Joint telephone bill

27th May 2017- Joint water bill

3rd Oct 2017- Applicant NHS appointment letter
24th Oct 2017- Letter from bank to sponsor

3rd March 2018- Joint Bank Statement

3rd August 2018- Joint Bank Statement
I will have to use photocopies of the bank statements as I will need them for financial evidence as well.

Does the spread look alright?
Many thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum :)

Your 2018 documents are spread too far apart - you need them to be every 4 months but you have a gap of 5 months between Oct and Mar, and between Mar and Aug 2018.

Also you only need to cover a maximum of 2 years with the documents, so that means from September 2016 to Aug/September 2018.

For example:
Sept 2016
Jan 2017
May 2017
Sept 2017
Jan 2018
May 2018
(added extra Aug/Sept 2018)

Don’t mean to jump the post, but it’s different for ILR, right?

The only difference is that fo ILR you have to cover the whole length of the FLR(M) visa - so in that case, it’s 6 documents in each name over 2.5 years, spread approx. every 5 months.
