Nope, I was there! Tried to get my husband to watch it with me but apparently it's a "chick thing".

I wouldn't say that.  I'm less than interested in it, but my husband is watching it.

Of course, he watched Sex in the City on his own, too - I couldn't stomach that at all...

I have a feeling I'm going to get yelled at. . . (or harshly typed at!)

I watched the 2nd episode last night and didn't think it was that great! I am still hopeful that it was just one of the not-so-great episodes and that it will get better in weeks to come. Please tell me it does.  I was all psyched up for it, all of my friends in the states are completely obsessed with it! I missed the first episode too. . . maybe that has something to do with it?

I REALLY WANT TO LIKE IT!

I have zero interest in it.  :-\\\\
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I quite like it. It's funny and it has a dark side to it. I can't help but think it's going to be as big as Sex in the City.

The weird widower has taped up a small trunk and ditched it in a lake. At the very end, it shows it bobbing back up to the surface....

Yeah ... how weird is that ... how could it sink in the first place, all airtight and so? [smiley=confused.gif]

well last night was the first time hubby saw any of it and as predicted the first words out of his mouth were "oh my god it's melrose place, it even has the same acotrs' !!!! oh and i was WRONG apparently it isn't Marcia cross he likes it was the other redhead from MP.  I'm hooked. anyhow. Loved the scene with whatsername getting locked out with no clothes on and the guy coming along and finding her in the bushes. Hilarious.

I'm with Pebbles, one ahead, so will keep Schtumm, but it's getting nice and murky and retaining the comedy aspect- I LOVE it :)

PS) I can't remember that actresses name but I think she was called Sydney in the show and was Jane's sister? My husband liked her too  ::) Oh, I think her name was Laura or Lara something.

The producer is an ex MP writer, so guess he stayed mates with the blonde guy married to the Mum with all the kids and Marcia Cross aka Kimberley the nutjob!

Oh YEAH! That's where I knew her from. I've been wondering what you guys meant with Marcia Cross and MP. Duh. She was the psycho husband snatcher.

I've been going out of my mind wondering where I've seen her before and here you guys are talking about it the whole time. I'm such a ditz.  ::)

Well, I stayed up til 1am last night watching the catch-up episodes.  It clashes with America's Next Top Model on Wednesdays.  And now I'm hooked.  Plus I've been banned by the teenagers from going on hte internet to look for spoilers :)
