It's like a real live love story. Boy meets car, car glistens in the sun. Boy takes car home. Never talks to wife again.  I may come out the winner here as my husband is a non stop talker.

But seriously, I forget he's had a rough life during certain periods and the things I take for granted, like owning a car, are huge for him.

I love that wee dafty.

Ahhhhhh!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

I know it seems terrifying and you think you could never do it, but you have to make it a goal to get your UK license.  It is pure freedom and will make your life here so much more pleasant.

I actually don't mind riding the bus. I have my bus card and it's so convenient to top up....and I have a bust stop at the end of my street, so that's super helpful. I know I have to re-evaluate once my daughter gets here because of school hours and stuff, but it's just been really easy to not have to drive. My husband and me work together right now (and have since around November) so that's helpful as well and not really motivated me to do anything about it.

Although, to be fair, I'm sure he would greatly appreciate someone being Designated Dave besides him.

And Lyonaria, I'm like smack bang in the middle of Notts and Derby, so "Ayup, me duck"

And the tuna won't be right either, as it's not albacore.
I have found albacore here occasionally, but it's rare, so when I do find it, I buy loads!

Just saw a jar of albacore tuna in Waitrose -- 150g for £3.50!!!  :o

She can walk out the door of her DEDICATED LAUNDRY ROOM straight to the Provolone.

Fine for some.

I’ve mentioned it before.  Italian sausage, etc.  It’s goooooood.  Only if you want a panini for lunch, you need to call ahead.  They aren’t quick.  They slice all the meats and cheese to order for them...  good.  But not quick.
