Now we need to finalize a date that will suit the majority of people  (SooninDevon, I'm looking at you!).

ksand24 is out of the UK until October 3rd or so, I believe, so it can't be any earlier than that.
TeamTollie have family coming in starting around that time, and they have their wedding on the 13th, and a prior commitment on the weekend of the 20th.
My husband (and, therefore I) am unavailable on the weekends of the 6/7th and the 13th/14th.
I think SooninDevon said she is unavailable on the weekend of the 6/7th?
KissofDeath is leaving for Japan at the end of September and will be gone for a month (not sure of the exact dates).

Do we want to push this into the first week of November?  Is that getting too far away?

I doubt we will find a date that works for everyone, but that just means we will need another meet-up in the future ;)

I think we have a local Halloween party at the end of October but the first weekend in Nov would work for me too. Oct 13 is out for us as family is visiting and flying home that day.

@MovingtoWales  what date is your wedding? If we moved this in November, would it interfere?

I don't have my November roster yet, but I already know that I'm working the weekend of the 10th/11th and I'm in Germany the weekend of the 17th/18th. Not sure about the 3rd/4th - hopefully the roster will have been issued by the time I go in to work the night shift tonight.

How about we put down the dates we CAN make, and then we can see which weekend has the most people available?

I'm free:

October
Any day between the 4th and the 14th (weekdays and weekends)
Sat 20th
Sun 28th

November
Possibly 3rd/4th/24th/25th, but I'll need to wait until the roster is issued to know for sure.

My wedding is the weekend of 13 October, and I am going to Comicon in London the weekend of 20 October. As my husband is off on weekends, we shouldn't have an issue in November/late October!!

We can do any weekend in October or November.   A Saturday would be preferable as we are old and grumpy and don't like doing a whole lot on Sundays, but we would surely do Sunday for the Blizzard Party if that works for everyone else.

A Saturday is better for us, too, but not the 6th or 13th of October, unless it's pretty late in the day/evening.

November 3rd is probably ideal for us, but I can't confirm until Monday.

Okay, my November roster is in:

I’m free on Sun 4th... and that’s pretty much it, as I have night shifts on Fri and Sat nights for most of the month.

We were thinking outside of Bristol, as it's pretty central for everyone. Where are you located??

Do you have any Saturdays (day or evening) on or after October 27th?

My husband will have to get a day off work for me to attend on a Sunday (and so far, he has had no luck trying to get a day off for the 7th).

In theory, I’m technically free on:
Sat 27th Oct
Sat 3rd Nov
But I will be at work in Lincoln until 7:30am those mornings.... so I likely wouldn’t be able to get to Bristol before about 5pm.

The only other option might be to switch a shift, but looking at the roster, I don’t think it’ll be easy, as it would mean disrupting someone else’s shifts for the whole week.
