My husband is definitely bummed that we didn’t all go and stay and go to the zoo today.  He’s now saying we will do Bristol on a weekend soon.  Which is cool and all but we had the perfect opportunity THIS weekend.    ;)

And he totally watched all of Strictly without me.

It would have been nice to join you guys, but I couldn't leave my dogs during Bonfire weekend. The poor things get so unbelievably scared and I couldn't leave my hubby alone with them. (He's not feeling great either.)

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Thanks Albatross. I love them, but not when they're in the hands of my neighbours. The fireworks, not my dogs haha. Someone was setting them off in the daytime! Poor Mylo went running away on our walk.

Oh man :( that is so cruel. People know to keep their animals in at night but would not be expecting it during the day!

Definitely hoping to be having a better week the next time, and looking forward to heading north. :)

Poor dogs.

I like the organised shows that are once a year at a designated public park.

I don’t like every Joe and their brother setting them off near homes.  I feel for dogs, kids, and well all living creatures in general.

And what really sucks is that they start setting them off days before and days after the weekend. I have a dog and a cat. The dog is fine and dandy but the cat? Poor thing, we have to lock him in and get some feliway!

Yes, that was a really fun time.  Thanks to KFdancer for joining me on the drive there, and thanks for dinner as well.  Let's just say I had no need for the radio during the journey.

Sorry KSand for torturing you with questions about the weather all night.

I woke up at the stripper air bnb and stumbled down the hill for a full English breakfast.  Score!

I’m sorry we didn’t make it! Can we do something further north....maybe halfway? If it wasn’t for our anniversary (December 1) and then Christmas we might have had the extra funds. We REALLY wanted to be there and actually meet everyone.

It takes me awhile to warm up to “strangers”.   ;D

Though, I am NOT that person that chats to the person next to me on a plane.  Is there anything worse than sitting next to “that” person?   ;)

Glad you survived Stripper Mansion.  She had good taste in cats though.   8)

They're setting them off right out front of our house and both my dogs are freaking out. What a lovely day.

Also, we would love to make it next time.
