Club Tropicana - urgent help needed!

Okay, my company has a stupid company meeting/party THIS Friday night.

It's Club Tropicana themed.... don't get me started about the forced fun.

Turns out, I'm having to present at the meeting.  Which sadly means I should probably participate in the horrible fancy dress-up-ness.

I need CHEAP and super quick ideas for this damn thing.  I have a bright yellow dress I will wear.  What else do I do?  Get a blow up flamingo to hold on Amazon?

HELP!  I have ZERO time between now and then.  Must be able to be ordered online for delivery tomorrow or possibly picked up during lunch tomorrow in Maidenhead town centre.

I'd prefer to spend no more than £5, but could stretch to £10 if I had to.

That dress looks like it could do with a straw bowl hat and some plastic fruit glued down inside or on the brim? Like Carmen Miranda. Bonus if you have a lot of chunky jewellry you can throw on too. Espadrilles then on the feet.

Alternatively - go the Wham! angle? Anything you could borrow from the video or is that too on the nose and/or obscure?

That's a very pretty dress!    And there are some awesome blow up flamingos on Amazon, I think that's a brilliant idea!

First, thank you for all the help you have given me. Reading this post to my husband and we are laughing because " forced fun" is one of our peeve and bonding things! I suggest you run into Tesco or the like, the palm tree thing is huge this summer and I bet they have sales. Or maybe a charity shop? Good luck! You have our empathy!

Amazon has  sunglasses with a palm tree on one side and a flamingo on the other! 

And a lei wouldn't hurt! 

Not sure what’s available by you, but we have stores here called the works? They carry everything from stations to nic nacs, but they have like tropical blow up things currently and it’s cheap

Thanks guys!  I realised that my plans tomorrow involve a big shopping area (for dinner), so I can get blue eye shadow, hopefully something flamingo still at Primark (they had those inflatable cup holders), maybe sunglasses.

And there’s a Tiger there!
