Funnily enough the stuffing option has been suggested a few times.

The cat food is kept in a wall cupboard which I have to stand on tip toe to open.  Not only had Leo managed to get into the cupboard (jumped from a counter) but he had also thrown everything out of the cupboard, including a hammer.  What a clever little ginger tom he is!  Leo is his polite name.  He is also known as "The Shy.." - with good reason.

We need more pics of Aslan!

Aww! He's so majestic :)

It was caturday over here, all the neighbourhood kitties came to say hi. I love it when that happens!

Aslan is rather gorgeous!

And he has settled in and is beginning to establish his rightful place as master of the house.

He had a bit of a spook on the ride home (was nervous). Hid behind the couch once we got home but now is happily purring away and enjoying exploring. I have a video but I don’t know how to upload it.

Awww, what a GREAT kitty.
I miss my kitties. Once we know for sure we're staying, there's a cat involved in my future!

Yay!! Check out zooplus online too, we get our cat food and litter from them, and the cat trees when I first moved.

@margo We looked at zooplus today. He’s accustomed to wood pellet litter but our Tesco only has the 10L bag and they’re £4.25 so not as economical. How fast do they deliver when you order from them? Any recommendations on products? I know we’re getting a harness from them soon  :D

Two or three days usually for me, from order to delivery. More recently it has been 2 days. I buy food and accessories from Zooplus but I think their litter is expensive. I use the Aldi clumping litter which not as good as US clumping litter but just fine for the price!  :)

If you would prefer to try another kind of litter, now would be the time to do it, when everything else is new for him too. :)

zooplus

Don't forget to look for a 5% off your first order coupon and if you are going to be a regular user it's worth joining their savings plan for 5% off all orders. It's best value to take the 3 year plan and pays for itself in no time if you are a regular shopper.

2 days isn’t too bad. I’ll do a good search today on their stuff.

I'm allergic to scents so I buy the tigerino Canada sensitive litter, gourmet perle wet food (kitty needs lysine daily to keep goopy eyes from getting worse, so it mixes into that well) and applaws chicken and duck dry cat food. It only takes a few days to arrive, and if you spend enough its free shipping. :)

The delivery might take longer for you as you're pretty far north but the dispatch is always really fast, within hours usually.

They have great galleries of all the pictures customers have sent in with their cats and whatever product it is you are looking at. Useful and cute!!!   ;D

If you have a country/farm/equine/animal/etc.  shop nearby, it may be worth checking there for litter.  When we used wood pellet litter, we used to buy it from a Mole store in mahoosive bags.
