Hi there
« on: September 08, 2018, 06:29:14 AM »
Hi everyone, my name is Shelby. I’m an American married to a Brit. Been married 17yrs, most of our time together has been spent in the US. We were married in Vermont, lived in UK in 2002, lived in CH, & now Seattle. We’re ready to move back to the UK. I am a Dental Hygienist of 20 years & Graham’s a boat builder. I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed by the visa process & having anxiety about whether we’ll get there. Wow. Is it ever different than 2002 😳😩
Any help, with anything, is so greatly appreciated. Even if it’s just a “chin up”!!
Thanks in advance

Hi Shelby, welcome!  :)

Yes, things have changed, a lot! Feel free to pop over to the visa section and ask all your questions there.  :)

Hi and welcome, Shelby!  Do try the visa section.  The people on this site will help you determine what financial category you can be sponsored under and help you sort out what evidence you'll need to provide with your application.  Meanwhile, hang out with us and feel better knowing you're not alone in this!
