Just following up to report that I’ve received my stuff, and the entire process was pretty painless. Would definitely recommend Robinsons (contracted in NYC with Schumacher Cargo Logistics). We did a 100cf shipment, which ended up being way more space than we expected (probably because we did not ship furniture - but ultimately this allowed us to ship extra clothing etc items we thought we were going to have to toss). In the end, it took just over 10 weeks from the day it was all packed up in NYC til I had the items in hand here in the UK!
Hi! I went with Robinsons and would be happy to help with any questions. My shipment has arrived and cleared customs, we are just trying to arrange a date for delivery at the moment. The movers came in NYC in mid-November, the shipment arrived end of December, and cleared customs less than a week ago. They’ve been excellent all round, zero complaints, very straightforward.
