Let's be honest, the real star of that show is the Paisley Berlin pant suit.

Nooooo,  the pink dress!  ;D

What are you waiting for? It's on I-player, turn it on now!  ;D You won't mind watching it again with your husband.  :D

I have to be very careful about not letting him know I've seen something if I want him to see it.  While he was working in Salisbury, I watched the entire 4 series of Halt and Catch Fire.  He had tried to get him interested, but he seemed really disinterested in it, so I watched them.  A year later, he suggested it, I said I'd gone ahead and watched them but I'd watch again because it was that good.  He thinks maybe in a few more years, when I've forgotten everything, we can watch it.  And I've never spoiled anything for him, ever!  (Oh, except constantly telling him "it has raisins in it... you like raisins," and then making him watch Better Off Dead.)

Edited to add:  iPlayer?  Hmph.  We don't get to watch iPlayer anymore.  I mean, we could if we paid the TV License fee (which I kind of want to do, just to fund the BBC).  We might have to wait for Netflix to buy this one in a few years' time.

Ah! Never mind then, this will be worth the wait!  ;D

If you watch nothing else all year, Killing Eve is worth the license fee by itself!  ;D

Definitely! In fact there are several good dramas right now. The Bodyguard, Killing Eve, Press and The Cry are all ones I am enjoying/have enjoyed.

Why don't you have a TV licence?

Why don't you have a TV licence?

Because we don't have a TV and don't watch "live" broadcast.  Catch-up TV (except iPlayer) and subscription streaming don't require a TV license.

I disagree with the funding structure in principle, but I also disagree with paying money I'm not required to pay.  I've been conflicted for several years, now.  I'm hoping they'll rethink the rules and just force everybody to pay it, so I'm no longer conflicted about it.

Because we don't have a TV

Oh, that makes sense.
I personally would be very unhappy to live without a TV, but i can see why some people feel they don't need one.  :)

Another 3 episodes last night, so we've seen 5 of the 8.  We will finish it tonight.

My husband is sooooooo weirded out by Villanelle.  I LOVE her!

I have no idea how this is going to end.  And hubby looked up at that they are currently filming season 2.

My husband always had a TV license even without the TV for use of iplayer. He also got a free view tuner for his computer. We have a smart TV now and mainly use streaming services, but it's nice to be able to tune to freeview when we feel like it.

My MIL can't stop talking about killing eve so we are gonna watch it together.

He doesn't like how she can kill without feeling.   [smiley=laugh4.gif]
