Passport charge showed up today!  Goodbye £85, hello renewed hope and anxiety!  Wheeeeee!

You guys!  My APPROVAL arrived today in the post!  I'll phone tomorrow to see about booking a ceremony... It's perfect because my FIL just asked us about our plans for Christmas, so it's possible we can go to Bristol to have my ceremony and Christmas dinner in one trip!  And, what a Christmas!  Ahhhhhhhhhh!  Soooo happy!

My NDRS+JCAP was October 24th (online application submitted the day before, on the 23rd) and biometrics submitted on October 27th.  My invitation/approval letter is dated November 22 and arrived today.  :)

ETA: I have to wait 'til tomorrow to book my ceremony because my husband is off today, and he doesn't know what days he's off next month, so we'll have to get that information when he goes in to work.

I'm absolutely stunned at how quick my decision was.  When I applied, I hoped to get my letter by the end of the year.  Now, depending on how soon I can have my ceremony, I might be able to have my fancy red passport by the end of the year!

My, how time flies....

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013
* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019

Have the passports switched to blue? I think I remember reading that it was happening, but I don't know if it has yet.

Unless they change their minds, the UK passport will start being blue in October 2019.
