What happens with ACA once you're living in UK?

Maybe a silly question but do you just cancel your US health insurance once you're living here in the UK? Does it need to be reported to the healthcare marketplace or something? I just want to make sure I don't get hit up come tax time.

I was on retiree health insurance , not the ACA, but I simply canceled it when I left. I e xpect it is the same with the ACA compliant policies.

I think the ACA individual mandate tax penalty has been canceled now, but in my case I needed to have been out of the US for 330 days before filing my US taxes to avoid the tax penalty.

Okay, that's kind of what I thought. I figured I just cancel and when I file taxes it will show that I have been living abroad so there shouldn't be any penalty. Thanks for the response and info!
