We went to Denny's!

Oh whoopie here!  Apparently there is a five pound "Tripper" ticket (uh, I dind name it) that allows you to ride any of the buses in Glasgow, regardless of which company runs 'em. SO, we can both get to and back from Denny's when it opens for 5 pounds! (My ride is free, I'm old.)  So, 2.50 each way for the Daughter.... that's reasonable. WE CAN GO TO DENNYS WHEN IT OPENS!  YEA!!!!!!

I was at Braehead last night, and passed by the new Dennys, which is right next door to the drive-thru  Costa.  All the lights were on inside and the signage was lit, so it looked open, but as I was driving, and on the opposite side of the road, I couldn't get a good look. If it's not open yet, it's looking very nearly ready!

Last I checked on Twitter (Sunday?) it wasn't open yet. But soon! I am ready to take my two buses and half a mile walk to get to it, if they'll just open it! I NEED a Belgian Waffle Slam.

You should check uber rates too. If my husband and I are both going into town uber is only slightly more expensive and so much less walking! (walking is OK in nice weather, not in the wind and rain.)

It's Next Monday.

My trip is free on the bus. The Daughter will pay 5pounds for a "Tripper" pass that allows her to ride any bus on any line, for 24 hours. I can't imagine Uber would be cheap from the Uni all the way out to Braehead, and back again.

Tuesday will be Denny's Day.
