Graham flour
« on: October 31, 2018, 08:13:26 PM »
Has anyone seen Graham flour in a store here? (I can source it from Vitacost in the USA or from one of two nordic online shops, but I'm hoping to find it in a store to save the shipping - which is like three times the price of a package of the flour!)

Hi. No, gram is like chickpeas, I think. Graham is a kind of whole wheat. That Graham Crackers (and, thus, Graham Cracker Crust) are made out of. I've been looking everywhere for it.

Yep. That's it. And one of the two nordic websites I found it on. The other is  http://www.scandikitchen.co.uk/product/kungsornen-grahamsmjol-graham-flour-1-5kg-copy/

Hoping to find it in a shop (hey, I can dream!). Found it at a grossly inflated price on Amazon.co.uk as well.

Vitacost sells it for Bob's Red Mill 1.5 pounds @ $2.19 per package. The shipping is the killer. But since I need several other things (Italian seasoning, etc.) that I can buy in bulk from them I may end up having them send it over.

Oh, I'm sorry. I missed the "in store" part of your post!

Had Vitacost ship me some. :) Can now make proper Grahm Cracker Crust.

They also sent me a $30 off $100 coupon. That covers the shipping for a big ship, so I may be sorting out what I still need. I already had them ship over a big bag of Italian seasoning.  Have to check the pumpkin pie spice stash to see if I need a refill. The good thing about the Frontier Co-op spices (which is what I usually get) is that they are well sealed and will last a long time on the shelf.  Hadn't planned on having more stuff shipped over so soon, but, hey, that's a good coupon!

Didn't Graham Flowers play rythm guitar for Manheim Steam Iron?

Check your promo pocket for the coupon. Alternatively, if you sign in using a new email address that might trigger it. Pretty much covers the shipping cost, depending on what you buy!
